Employees of PT XL Axiata Tbk have again distributed educational donations to various parts of the country as part of the XL Axiata Bersama Bangun Negeri (Sharing) program. This time, donations were given to a school and orphanage in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Province.
Donations were distributed to SMA Negeri Lurasik in Boronubaen Village, North Biboki District, North Central Timor Regency and the Regina Angelorum Tenubot Orphanage in Atambua, Belu Regency.

A total of 200 internet packages were distributed to students and teachers of SMA Negeri Lurasik, each in the form of a SIM card with a 30 GB quota for two months. Routers are also given a free quota of 20 GB every month for one year. Meanwhile, the Regina Angelorum Tenubot Orphanage, which has 30 children, was given a cash donation of IDR 3 million.
Present at the social activity which took place on Thursday (1/10), included Head Of Sales Area East Nusa Tenggara Arief Indra and Territory Sales Manager of XL Axiata Area Atambua Andi Baharuddin.
Chief Human Capital Officer of XL Axiata Rudy Afandi said, working in a technology-based company, the average XL Axiata employee has knowledge, understanding, and expertise in the field of digital technology that can be shared with students because it is very beneficial for them.
"For example, how to use social media in a positive way, how to use the internet to support achievement, how to make good photos with an ordinary smartphone, and many more. For this reason, we hold the Sharing program throughout the year, ”said Rudy, in his statement, Thursday (1/10).
According to him, the program, which is routinely carried out every year in various regions in Indonesia, is a form of concern for XL Axiata employees for the advancement of the world of education.
